DNA Paternity Test
This is the most commonly used paternity test. It determines if a man is the biological father of a child. Paternity tests are normally requested for child support cases, child custody cases, social security benefits, inheritances and more.
Those that need to be swabbed include the child, the alleged father and the child’s mother.
Results will be available in 2 business days from the time the samples and paperwork are received at the lab.

Non-invasive Prenatal Paternity (NiPP) Test
NiPP testing allows you to establish paternity before a baby is even born. It carries less risk of harm to your baby than invasive methods like amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS).
NiPP testing can be done when the mother is at least 10 weeks pregnant, however, if gender determination is also desired, the mother should wait until 14+ weeks gestation to have samples drawn. These gender determination results are often used for gender reveal parties or just for the parent’s knowledge.
The mother will have two 10ml tubes of blood drawn and the alleged father will have four mouth buccal swabs tested.
Results will be available in 4-7 business days after the samples and paperwork are received at the lab.

Missing Parent Test
Determines if a biological relationship exists between both alleged grandparents and a child. This is most often used when a father is unavailable for testing or when he refuses to test.
Those that need to be swabbed include the child, both of the alleged father’s biological parents and the child’s mother.
Results will be available in 2 business days after the samples and paperwork are received at the lab.

Grandparentage Test
Determines if a biological relationship exists between one alleged grandparent and a child. This is most often used when a father is unavailable for testing or when he refuses to test.
Those that need to be swabbed include the child, one of the alleged father’s biological parents and the child’s mother.
Results will be available in 2 business days after the samples and paperwork are received at the lab.

Avuncular Test
Determines if a biological relationship exists between an alleged father’s sibling and a child. This is most often used when a father is unavailable for testing or when he refuses to test.
Those that need to be swabbed include the child, one of the alleged father’s biological siblings and the child’s mother. The alleged father’s sibling must be a full sibling; half siblings do not qualify.
Results will be available in 2 business days after the samples and paperwork are received at the lab.

This test determines if a woman is the biological mother of a child. Maternity tests are most often used for immigration purposes.
Those that need to be swabbed include the child, the alleged mother and the child’s father.
